  How to Register

In order to participate in the OCLAX League, you must obtain a US Lacrosse number, register with Newport Wedge and register with OCLAX.

US Lacrosse Number

Each player must first obtain a US Lacrosse number  in order to register for the Newport Wedge club teams. US Lacrosse is a support organization that provides secondary insurance for every player, determines rules and regulations for the game, and trains referees and coaches. Orange County Lacrosse organizes local games, tournaments, and other events.

Registration process

1. Register and write down the US Lacrosse number you are given. You will need it when you register for the Newport Wedge. Returning players will need to include the expiration date of their membership.
2. Email the Club Manager, Lauren Mulvaney, your registration form to laurenfm@roadrunner.com
3. Register with OCLAX HERE
4. Return the forms with your check

    We are not using Active for registration this season.

Fees

Fees are $150 per player for the SPRING 2011 season, but are subject to change based upon the team size, field fees and schedule.  All fees must be paid at the time of registration and can be paid online. Fees include OCLAX team fees, coaching and uniforms. Players are responsible for bringing their own lacrosse stick, mouthguard, goggles, and tennis shoes or cleats to practice.

 SPRING 2011 Season

• Practices will held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at Newport Ridge field
• Games begin in late April through early June on either Friday night, Saturday or Sunday - The schedule will be posted once it is set by the League.

We are part of the OC Lacrosse league - www.oclax.org

The Newport Beach Girls Lacrosse team is run by both paid staff and parent volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help organize paperwork, finances, snacks, and fun events.  Please email team coordinator Lauren Mulvaney at laurenfm@roadrunner.com if you are interested in helping out.
